Summary Post: England (Second part)

After Wales I rode back into England near Liverpool, rode up through the Lake District and across Hadrian’s Wall to Newcastle, then up the coast towards Scotland. Here’s the numerical summary!

Here are the numbers!
  • Days in country: 9
  • Days riding: 6
  • Kilometres ridden: 642km
  • Running total (nearest 10km): 7260km
  • Longest day: 126km (to get to a nice campsite near a pub to watch the Olympics Opening Ceremony)
  • Accom cost: ~80 GBP (A few hostels pushed the price up)
  • Other costs: ~80 GBP (Paid for my Scotland-London train, and bought a ticket to an Olympics Football game)
  • Favourite food/drink: Fish and Chips and a couple of pints while watching the Olympics Opening Ceremony.
  • 2 nights in a campground,  4 nights in a hostel, 3 with friends and 0 Warmshowers.
  • Favourite photos: Indie about to cross to Lindisfarne, and an HDR of the view from my bunkhouse..
